Mae was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 19, 1948. She received a Bachelor Degree in Business Education from the University of North Carolina in 1977. She and Pastor Jackson were married on August 9, 1968.

She and Pastor Jackson have three children: Nolan, Jr., Neal, and Scarlett. As a result of Pastor and Mae’s steady, Godly influence, all three of their children have served in various ministries at Belmont. Mae was a stay-at-home mother for twenty years while home schooling her children for twelve of those years. She and Pastor Jackson also have six precious grandchildren. Nolan and his wife Dana have two children, Jace and Joie. Neal and his wife Tracy have three children, David, Tori, and Reagan. And Scarlett and her husband Philip Byrd have one son, Jackson.

Always at her husband’s side, Mae has been very involved in the ministries of Belmont and especially in the Counseling Ministry. God has greatly used them in this area of ministry to help many struggling families come to freedom.
