Below is a list a frequently asked questions at most churches. We want to make sure that you feel comfortable with your experience at Belmont. If there are any additional questions that you do not see below, feel free to email us at info@belmontbaptistchurch.com

  • Where are you located?

We are located parallel to Interstate 20 between the cities of Conyers and Covington. Depending upon your location, it is just as easy to locate us from exit 88 (Almon Road) or exit 84 (Salem Road/Hwy 162). We are the “big brick church with tall, white columns” that is seen from the interstate and next to the “log cabin” on the access road that runs parallel to I-20.

From Covington

If you’re coming from exit 88 (Almon Road) / Covington, you can take the access road headed west toward Atlanta and we’ll be located on a hill on the left.

From Conyers

If you’re coming from exit 84 (Salem Road/Hwy 162) / Conyers, you can take the Access Road headed east toward Augusta and we’ll be located on a hill on the right.

  • What should I wear?

At Belmont, we believe that a person shouldn’t be judged or made to feel out of place based on what they wear or how they look. You’ll find a great deal of variety in the style of our members and visitors alike. If you are more comfortable wearing your nicest suit and tie, or if you feel more comfortable in jeans and a T-shirt, come as you are and let us get to know you better personally.

  • What Sunday School class should I attend?

When you walk through the front doors at Belmont, you will be greeted by our ushers who will be more than happy to welcome you to an age-appropriate Sunday School class. If there is someone who invited you, give us their name and we’ll help you locate their Sunday School class. We also will have information about the theme of each Sunday School class if you’d feel more comfortable attending a class where the members are in the same stage of life you are.

  • What about my children?

We have age-graded Sunday School classes starting from age 3-12, and a Children’s Church hour during our main worship service so that your children will have just as great a worship experience as you are having. We also have middle school, high school, and college & career student Sunday School classes. Our nursery workers will assist you with pagers for your children so that we can keep in contact with you during the service. All of our children’s ministry workers must sign an agreement form before they can work with children of any age.
