Take the First Step |
The following is an example of how to break sexual relationships by
giving the word of your testimony:
“In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I break all relationship
and subjection from (call the name if possible) and their ancestors.
(Spirits can transfer if they have legal ground). I plead the Blood of the
Lord Jesus Christ between us, and I choose to surrender my body to Him. I
cancel out this sin of immorality that it cannot come down to my children
or grandchildren to the third and fourth generation.” This is giving the
word of your testimony. Remember there must be true repentance, in
accordance with Revelation 12:11.
All the ground Tim had given to Satan (strongholds of lust, anger,
bitterness, resentment, depression, despair, and suicide,) had to be
reclaimed. The authority that Jesus awarded to His children according to
Luke 10:19 should be directed to the evil spirit. Spirits have names that
usually represent their assignment from Satan, such as fear, witchcraft,
doubt, unbelief, unforgiveness, pornography, etc. They also can have
names, such as Lucifer or Beelzebub, or even names of persons. Here is an
example of a command for pulling down strongholds:
“In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I command the spirit of
(name the strongholds directly by name as lust, anger, bitterness,
resentment, depression, despair, suicide) to come to attention. All your
parts and systems must come, past, present and future systems, time-zoned
systems, back-up systems, dormant systems. You must be a whole spirit. You
can- not divide, you cannot multiply, you cannot regroup or receive
outside help from Satan or his helper demons.
“I take back all ground I have given to you, all that has come
from my ancestors, all that has come from my sex partner(s) and their
ancestors. I claim the promise of Luke 10:19: ‘Behold, I give you power
to tread on serpents, and scorpions, and over all power of the enemy: and
nothing shall by any means hurt you.”’
“In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the authority of the
Word of God and the power of the blood, I bind you into the pit now.”
Or, if you feel more comfortable, you can tell it to go where the Lord
Jesus tells it to go. However, in Psalm 149:8,9 we have the promise to
bind Satan’s kings and nobles with chains and fetters of iron and to
execute upon them the judgment written. Then, after the command has been
made, ask God to fill that void with His Holy Spirit.
Jodi’s problem was unforgiveness. She felt hurt when she thought
about Tim’s fornication and did not forgive him from her heart.
Unforgiveness is a powerful tool of Satan. In Matthew 8:21-35, when Peter
asked Jesus how many times he was required to forgive his brother who
sinned against him, Jesus teaches Peter unlimited forgiveness. As an
example, Jesus gave Peter the parable of the unmerciful servant who
refused to forgive his fellow servant a small debt, after he had been
forgiven such a tremendous debt. His Lord was angry and handed his wicked
servant over to his tormentors until he should repay all that was owed
him. Jesus said, “This is what my heavenly Father will also do to you,
if each of you does not forgive his brother from your heart.”
Jesus is saying that God has forgiven mankind of such a large debt
in comparison and when we do not forgive, He removes His protection, and
the demons can torture us. Often, Christians think that they must feel
forgiveness before they can forgive, but the will precedes the emotions.
When Jodi realized it was a choice she had to make from her heart, the
emotions followed.
An example of a prayer for forgiving those who have hurt you can be
like this:
“Heavenly Father, I have been hurt very deeply and I cannot
forgive, but with Your grace and Your strength, I choose now to forgive
(name those who have hurt you).”
To not forgive one’s self, is another trick of Satan, because the
person is simply not accepting God’s forgiveness. This is especially
true after someone has had an abortion. |
