1. We are all born into this world doing things that are wrong in the eyes of God.

Romans 5:12

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

Romans 3:23

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”

2. Because we’ve all sinned against God and broken His holy commandments, a penalty must be paid in full.

Romans 6:23

“For the wages (payment) of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

3. There is nothing we can do to escape the penalty that we must pay for breaking His laws.

Ephesians 2:8-9

“For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of your selves, it is a gift from God; not of works, lest any man should boast.”

John 14:6

“…I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no man cometh unto the Father but by Me.”

Isaiah 64:6

“But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

3. Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, came down from Heaven and willingly died on the cross to pay that penalty that we should’ve paid…because of love.

1 Peter 2:24

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”

Isaiah 53:5

“But he was wounded for our transgressionshe was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

Romans 5:8

“But God commendeth His own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

4. Since God accepted the perfect sacrifice of Jesus’ death in our place, He offers the exchange of eternal life so that we can know Him personally…all we have to do is accept His free gift.

Romans 10:9-10

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

If you have found life meaningless, hopeless, discouraging, and/or too difficult and you can’t seem to understand the point to life, then God is calling you to understand your purpose in life. He created you. He loves you. He died for you. Now, He desires for you to seek and accept Him for who He truly is so that He can begin to show you who He created you to be and give you the ultimate purpose and satisfaction you’ve never known or experienced.

If you are serious about wanting to know how to accept Christ personally as your personal Savior, you can follow this simple prayer below or contact a church counselor for more information:

“God, I confess that I have broken Your commandments and deserve to pay the ultimate penalty for my sins. I understand and believe that because Jesus loves me, He sacrificed Himself and died in my place for my sins so that I could have the chance to begin a relationship with You. I ask that You would forgive me for my sins, and I now change my ways, turn to You, and ask that You would save me and begin a relationship with me. Thank You, God for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

If you went through the steps above, and have decided to follow Jesus, we want you to share that with us so that we can rejoice with you! You can contact us during office hours listed on the current page or down at the bottom of the website. We are praying for and encouraging you!
